PERSONAL STYLING

KIRSTI – BOURNEMOUTH

“I now, thanks to you, feel so much more empowered to wear what I know looks good and makes me feel good.

“I’ve realised how much I love the ‘drama’ and how you were so spot on in your analysis, which still amazes me! I know it’s not magic and you spent time training, but you also made me feel comfortable and confident, which isn’t something that’s taught, so thank you for being your wonderful self.

“I’m also loving finding so much more joy in looking for clothes, I can filter what I’m looking for so much easier and am really looking forward to the time for it to be safe for me to go to a shop…I wish I could take you with me!

“Thank you so much again for sharing your style wisdom and helping me regain the confidence to dress for my authentic self.”

JACKIE – SHEFFIELD

“I had my colours & style assessment with Katie in June, knowing several friends who have had it done previously, I was really looking forward to it.

“I’m a spring colour season and a dramatic style personality, it has been an amazing journey over the last 3 months experimenting with the colours and style tips Katie gave me.

“I wasn’t overly happy with my body shape having gained a bit of weight and changed shape over the years but Katie’s tips on styles, shapes and lengths have absolutely shifted my perception of my body image!

“I get so many compliments now on how well I look, how happy I look and my colour combos. The sessions themselves were fun and exciting as we discovered which season I was, a surprise to both of us.

“I highly reommend booking in to see Katie you will have an amazing time.”

HANNAH – LONDON

“My style session with Katie was everything I had wanted and much more! I learnt so much from my personal style assessment and now feel more confident in putting outfits together and adding accessories. And I’m really enjoying the compliments I’m getting from friends!

“Katie was so thoughtful in her approach to talking about my body shape, she really boosted my confidence. I feel totally inspired by her and all the advice she gave me.

“If you’re feeling a bit stuck with your style, I cannot recommend a session with Katie enough!”

LIZZY – DONCASTER

“Since we spoke I’ve been feeling so much better about my personal style and how I am finally starting to dress how I feel!

“I find shopping far more satisfying now and knowing what will look good on my shape has made me feel much more confident, so thank you so much for your help.

“It’s been wonderful to hear compliments about my style from friends and family too. I honestly cannot thank you enough Katie!”

AMY – BARNSLEY

“As soon as I met Katie I warmed to her. The reason I mention this is I think it’s so important when seeking advice on something as personal as style. So when I discovered she was qualifying as a Personal Stylist, I jumped at the chance to work with her.

After two children (nearly 5 and nearly 2) I had ‘lost my way’ somewhat, I knew I needed comfort and ease for my lifestyle but had fallen into the realms of drab… Enter, The Wardrobe Edit! It is a fabulous experience; inspiring, lifting and the beauty is, it’s all done with pieces from your own wardrobe.

With some careful prep-work, on the day Katie will guide you through your body shape analysis, style personality then get on to the good stuff, putting outfits together. This part blew my mind, the creativity of pairing items together that I wouldn’t have thought of and them really working! She’ll leave you with an organised wardrobe, a really clear view on what works for you and how to spot it. The quality of the follow up is also second to none, so that you have really useful tools to start re-focusing your eye on what works for you and where to find it on both the High Street and more high end brands. I can honestly say that in a challenging year, working with Katie has been my beacon of light. If you’re on the fence…hop off and do it, you won’t regret it!”

HEATHER – LONDON

“I was lucky enough to be Katie’s first styling client – and it was a fabulous experience! Katie is so warm and lovely, and she made me feel totally comfortable with my anxieties over finding ‘my look’. I opted for the Style and Shape Assessment and the Wardrobe Edit  – and I now understand what looks good on me, and what to look for when shopping!

“Katie delivered the information really simply (but thankfully sent me some reference cards afterwards, so I don’t forget!). Thanks a million Katie, I really value your time and expertise!”

LAURA – PONTEFRACT

“Wow! Before Kate came I honestly thought my wardrobe was pretty boring but after my wardrobe edit I’m excited to start mixing things up a bit. She explained my body shape really well, and we discussed the types of clothes/fits that would work well for me. When we looked through the style personalities Kate believed me to be a mix of 3 with one dominant, and from looking at each description she was spot on! The creative style is something I’ve always wanted to do but never really had the confidence but I feel after my edit I can pull little elements across without going OTT straight away!

“As we went through my wardrobe she pulled outfits together that I would never have thought of but I now love these new combinations – it’s definitely given some life back into some of my old favourites. She showed me out to easily show off my waist with waist belts/scarves and just something as simple as tucking a top in can make it suit my body shape so much more! We discussed the amount I spend on clothing and then came up with a list of items to buy and also a wish list.

“I felt completely at ease discussing my style habits and body issues with Kate and she was full of fabulous ideas for showing off my style.”

Not only does she talk to us about each of these emotions and how they personally affect her, but also her tips on how to flip these emotions around into something positive. She talks about why we have these emotions, and how negativity within society affects us, even from a young age and reinforces the negative feelings we have about ourselves. But this book will help you think differently and empower you to make positive changes. This is one of those fabulous books that you can read through from cover to cover, but then refer back to whenever you need it. GWYN AP HARRI -DIRECTOR

“We have been producing marketing copy internally for five years, and we felt we still hadn’t got it right. Katie came to us and showed us how you can say all you need to say without being technical, without explaining every single detail, and do this in an understandable, personable and lively way. She was like the breath of fresh air that blew us all away!

“We used her copywriting to launch a new product that to us was even more technical, more complex to explain. She made it simple and fun. The reaction to the launch has been amazingly successful, partly because the product is great, and partly because we can explain it in a couple of sentences to anyone. First impressions start with tight, punchy copy. That’s what Katie gives us.”
