Hi, I’m Katie.
I’m a freelancer. A journalist. A copywriter. And a blogger. Which basically means I write stuff – all kinds of stuff – for a living.
As a little girl, I dreamt of being a writer ( I even used to make magazines from scratch) so it’s fair to say I’m pretty delighted with how things have turned out. I’ve been writing for over a decade now and there is nothing else I would rather do.
Over the years I’ve written for various publications including Out On A Limb, Work Out, iBelieve, The Barnsley Chronicle, Caring UK and Assistive Technologies. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with some truly talented clients, brands and people. Oh, and I have a blog too which is doing rather well, called Pouting In Heels.
I’m 33, married and a mum to one amazing little girl. A proud Lancashire lass who now lives happily amongst ‘the enemy’ in glorious South Yorkshire.
Life. A lot. It’s brilliant isn’t it?
I also rather like words, adventures, photography, pretty things and ancient history.
Intolerance, injustice, arrogance, bad manners and clients who pay late.
By everything but especially people and their stories. Human beings really can and do achieve the most incredible things.
Thanks ever so much for stopping by. Please do feel free to have a nosey around or come and say hi if it tickles your fancy.
